Managed Security

Managed Host IPS

Host Intrusion Prevention takes your security defenses beyond perimeter security by protecting critical servers from internal attacks as well as external attacks where hackers use encryption as an attack technique.

Dell SecureWorks' Host Intrusion Prevention (Host IPS) service provides an application firewall to ensure that the application is doing only what it is supposed to be doing. When encrypted traffic is received and decrypted by the operating system on the host machine, the Host IPS agent intercepts instructions prior to reaching the application to prevent malicious activity.
